Hummingbird EcoCleaning was started in 2004 as the first green cleaning company in Austin, Texas. Today it is owned by Josephine Sorvillo, an entrepreneur from Brooklyn, NY. Jo works hard to maintain and improve Hummingbird, employing an approach that is both ethical and effective.
Hummingbird is devoted to keeping its clients, its employees and Earth happy. Our company provides fair wages and a supportive network to its wonderful, carefully chosen employees, many of whom are ambitious artists from the Austin area. We extend the same amount of care and respect to every client.
The hummingbird has been used as a talisman for environmental activists, originating from a South American Quechua parable about environmentalism. With our commitment to eco-conscious practices, and our strong work ethic, it is the perfect symbol for us.
We clean for both residences and businesses, and our services include move-in, move-out, and vacation rental cleanings.
