Hummingbird Ecocleaning was started in 2004 by Tamara Mayfield as one of the first green cleaning companies in Austin, Texas. Today it is owned by Allison Geneser, who has been with the company since 2009. She and Amanda Hoffman, the general manager, both work very hard to maintain and improve Hummingbird, employing an approach that is both ethical and fun.
Hummingbird is devoted to keeping its clients, its employees, and the Earth happy. Our company provides fair wages and a supportive network to its wonderful, carefully chosen employees. We extend the same amount of care and respect towards our clients.
The hummingbird has been used as a talisman for environmental activists, deriving from a South American Quechua parable about environmentalism. With our commitment to eco-conscious practices, and our hard-working, efficient work ethics, it is the perfect symbol for us.
Why Choose Hummingbird?
We put a lot of energy into carefully selecting and training our employees. Then we treat them as well as possible to maintain their enthusiasm and to avoid turnover.
Not only does our company employ only eco-friendly cleaning techniques, but we also promote environmental awareness on the Internet and in the Austin community.
We keep things green and local by working with eco-friendly and local businesses as much as possible.
Our system has been honed over the years to be as effective as possible. We continue to research and test products and practices to maintain a cutting edge.
Your satisfaction is guaranteed. If for some reason you are not happy with the quality of our services, please contact us within 24 hours. We will return as soon as possible to re-do the work.
We are insured for your protection.
